Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse

Total Lunar Eclipse | May 15, 2022

Last night, a lunar eclipse occurred that was visible from North America. I stayed up to watch the first half from my backyard and take a few photos.

This image below is a composite of 13 frames. 263 total frames were taken over a little less than an hour of shooting.

Shooting this series began towards the end of the Partial Eclipse phase, at 10:20:09 PM CDT, and ended at Maximum Eclipse at 11:11:29 PM.
